These images serve as a study in the visual intimacy achieved with a stranger in an eight week intensive environment. As the weeks progressed there was a natural growth between the subject and myself. The organic human and earthly form reached a level of emphasizing the dichotomy between control and nature. There is a dominance exerted through the declaration of each significant moment in nature as worthy of creating a portrait of the land and the figure (Lacoste, France 2015).
