Single & Video Premiere, Ruins’ “Been So Far”

We first met Adam Schubert about a year ago when he spoke with visual artist Alexa Viscius about childhood, cover bands, and their home city of Chicago.

When he’s not performing in Cafe Racer, Adam is focusing on his solo project Ruins. Today Ruins is releasing its first single “Been So Far” since the release of its debut EP, 2, last year.

With collaborator Alexa Viscius, the two artists also created an accompanying music video for the single. Road tripping through the American South West, Viscius captured their memories on Super 8, bringing their individual visions together for this visual piece.

Adam is heading back into the studio in January to begin recording a full length, but until then you can stream and watch ‘’Been So Far’’ with us below.
